Electroconvulsive Therapy

Since 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' is such an exquisite book, here's another image that's inspired by it. The table for the electroshock therapy is described as cross-shaped in the novel, which seems a bit arbitrary, but at least it's a good excuse to do an electric crucifixion scene.

Lobotomised

I did a series of paintings inspired by 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' (the novel). One of them came out surprisingly impressionistic. It is about the final triumph of McMurphy and his spirit's rise into freedom.
